In a “Galaxy” far, far away…

A YARN preamble.  A few months back, we read an unusual submission:  a series of poems written collaboratively by Jessy Randall and Derek Rowley, who met on the staff of their high school literary magazine, “Galaxy,” in the 1980’s.  Jessy had submitted to us before (in fact, her “O Oreo” was part of the inspiration for our Candy & Cookie Poem Drive), and we’d encouraged her to submit more work.  The collaborative poems, which you can find in the Poetry section this week, were the happy result.
