When autumn comes, we look forward to new colors, smells, treats quickly follow. And fresh YARN.
Our fall season is brimming with rebellious fiction, finely wrought teen poetry, the real-life existential dilemmas of being a fangirl–and that’s just by the writers you don’t know (yet)!
We’ll also have an interview/chat with the incomparable writer-editor Leila Sales, author of the new novel “This Song Will Save Your Life,” and a story by philosophically inclined debut novelist Emil Ostrovski. That’s not all! We’ll have original short fiction from Jenny Torres Sanchez, the imaginative mind behind “The Downside of Being Charlie” and “Death, Dickinson, and the Demented Life of Frenchie Garcia,” and a not-what-you-expect-from-this-writer-but-totally-awesome story from YA debut author Lamar Giles of “Fake ID” fame.
And don’t forget the annual Candy/Cookie Poem Drive!
As the days become shorter, fill your nights with our staple blogs, lessons plans, and our social media feeds.
And never forget to ask: What’s your YARN?
